MORPC is opening up our staff bicycle safety training session to the community. If you are interested in hearing from a League Certified Instructor on the rules of the road, please join us on Monday from Noon to 1 p.m. Feel free to bring your lunch a learn a little something new. You can sign up here: http://bit.ly/jJzudg.

For Bike Month, MORPC is pleased to announce a Bicycle Safety Training session. This is a brown-bag lunch event from Noon – 1 p.m. on Monday, May 23rd in MORPC’s Conference Room Scioto. The training will be given by Randy Dull, an experienced local commuter and League Certified Instructor (LCI). The topics include bicycle safety (e.g. basic checks before going on a bike ride, helmet use, etc.), laws of the road, and general commuter tips.

Please feel free to forward this invitation to anyone who might be interested. For example, parks & recreation departments or Safe Routes to School coordinators may benefit from learning some bike safety information that they can pass on to other groups they work with. It might also be of personal interest to you, whether you are a novice rider, frequent rider, or a non-rider.

To ensure an adequate room setup, please RSVP here: http://bit.ly/jJzudg. If you have specific questions you would like Randy to address in his presentation, be sure to send them in advance to Juana Sandoval.
