2011 Spring Student Showcase

Thursday, April 7 from 5-7pm

Knowlton Hall Review Space

Join us for a 2-hour event featuring six projects presented by students representing the Architecture, Landscape Architecture and City & Regional Planning programs. The first hour will include six 10-minute presentations followed by one hour of discussion and networking with students, alumni, and faculty. Light refreshments will be provided.

CRPSA Meeting, April 5 at 4:50

Membership Meeting
CRPSA will be having a membership meeting on Tuesday, April 5, at 4:50, immediately following the Graduate CRP 712 class. We'll be meeting in Room 175 to cover the following topics:

1) For anyone who is going to the APA Conference that has attended or volunteered at a CRPSA-Point generating event, you will receive a check to help fund your Boston experience.

2) We will be introducing the 2011-2012 CRPSA website (ksacrpsa.blogspot.com) and discussing some of its features, including a survey that will gather information from students to help them network according to internships, neighborhood residency, and interests.

3) We'll discuss CRPSA's opportunities for improvement and gather feedback on how this organization can be of the greatest value to its members.

Whether you are a current member or not, all are encouraged to attend!

T-Shirts for Sale!
T-Shirts will be available for purchase on Tuesday (4/5), from 12:30 to 1:30 in the 4th Floor CRP lab. The newest shirt, designed by Ratzko Ruzic, will be $15. Any previous year design will be $10. Please bring exact change or a check to purchase these shirts!

One Ohio State Framework Plan
Graduate Students:
Dinner, Dessert and Discussion over the One Ohio State Framework Plan. April 5, 5:30 at 1100 Kinnear Road on West Campus.

Join several other student organizations in a group discussion over the One Ohio State Framework on April 5th and why sustainability is so vital to the University's future. We really need to be well represented here, and dinner (and dessert) is provided! Who's interested?

Come and meet the candidates for the Trott Visiting Professor Position

C&RP Students:
This coming week we're interviewing three candidates for the Trott Visiting Professor position.
Each candidate will be giving a presentation, which you're invited to attend.
Students will also have a scheduled time to meet each candidate, and we urge you try to attend. Your opinion on who we should hire is important to the faculty. You can submit your thoughts to Ryan Friedberg (undergrad rep), Jonathan Nutt (master's rep) or Becca Kemper (PhD rep). We will be voting on the candidate to select at the end of the day Friday.
